Also in our list of mares are a number of Broodmares who boast impeccable lineages to further the Brandenburg mission of talent and temperament. These lines include Colbert ,Clarinius , Dismant de Semilly , Baloubet du Roux, Nimmerdor and Landgraf 1 to name just a few.
These ladies are an important part of our breeding program and without them none of this would be possible.
Not all Brandenburg horses are brood mares and some of our them go on to become competition horses and although we see the ladies do not receive the same credit as the stallions we believe they are just as important. The team believe our mares are very important and that is why we use only the best lines in our breeding.
At Brandenburg we love our mares and at Brandenburg although mares have acquired a bad name for being mares and temperamental at times that is why we are working hard to correct that. We believe in our Brandenburg mares and furthermore we will promote our mares as much as our stallions although we do not have as many competitive mares as stallions, we are promoting our mares more and more.

Our horses are bred to be competitive horses. We look for talent and temperament in our ladies just as we do in our stallions. Our female horses will be in the spotlight just as our stallions are.
We boast some of the most amazing imported blood lines although these lines come from all over the world and are specifically chose for talent and temperament. We look forward to seeing our hoses compete. They have been bred for just this and we are sure they will succeed.
